Our latest technical video is all about air filters and how they can affect the performance of your Puch moped.

Have you ever wondered which air filter to use on your Puch moped? We have received many enquiries from you about this, and today we are finally clearing up all the questions!

First of all, the original air filter. This is often called a "power filter", but in reality it doesn't give your moped any extra horsepower. Why? Because it is mainly designed for the noise level. Puch mopeds need to be quiet, so the original filter is a good choice if you are running an original setup.

But if you want to get more power out of your moped, for example with a bigger cylinder or a tuned engine, then you need more air and more fuel. This is where the power filters come in. We show you how to adjust them to allow more airflow.

We also talk about special air filters for racing. These filters are ideal for high revving engines with racing carburettors like the Polini CP or Dellorto PHBG. They have a large pre-chamber that provides extra air reserves when you accelerate in corners.

We also explain why true sports air filters can be a good choice if you ride in good weather and don't fear rain. These filters provide better airflow for high performance engines.

In addition, we have exciting news! On 18 November we are organising a four-hour race at the Moped Festival in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. It will be international with participants from the USA, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, France and the Netherlands. You can participate as a rider or spectator - registration is still open!
