Selettra internal rotor ignition by Italkit
Selettra is known for its quality and builds thousands of different ignition systems in Italy.
- The electronic inner rotor digital ignition has been developed by the technicians at Italkit in different engines, to obtain the best power and ignition curve to adapt in all engines.
- The ignition is prepared to work up to 27.000 RPM
- The ignition works clockwise an anti-clockwise
- The curve is shown in picture 6 and 7
- So also for Puch Z50 and ZA50 engines!
- Compared to conventional ignition systems, the internal rotor ignition is much more agile due to the low rotor flywheel mass (approx. 350 grams) and the engine revs up faster. In addition, the ignition adjustment is noticeable in the power delivery.
- With this internal rotor ignition there is no alternator or battery charge available, therefore a charged battery is necessary for the lighting system and other electrical consumers.

Technical data:
- Stator left- right turning, Ø 90 mm base plate. Stator has 3700 turns, 13° degrees.
- Rotor P3356 article no. 00131213 with cone 1:5 suitable for Puch, Kreidler, Zündapp and Sachs.
- Weight of rotor 350 gram.
- Starting speed - ignition spark already at 400 RPM.
A nice detail is that the rotor has a fan on the back for better cooling.
